I have two kids name Caleb and Corrie and they are amazing! I am a film fanatic and I am addicted The Walking Dead, The Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt, and superhero movies.
Susanna Carson – Music Director and Organist
Hi, my name is Susanna Carson and I am thrilled to be working at Highland Church. At fourteen I fell in love with playing the Pipe Organ and all worship music. This passion has lead me to study Musicology at Randolph-Macon College. I have just begun my journey to achieve a dual masters degree in Divinity and Christian Education at Union Presbyterian Seminary. I enjoy working with all ages, finding new ways to enhance our worship experience, and in supporting and teaching volunteer musicians. On my free time I enjoy spending time outside, reading, and hanging out with my puppy, Shiloh.
